Clinician, Methuen, MA

The Key Program is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Master's Level Clinician to work in a nine bed residential group home for up to nine female adolescents located in Methuen, MA.

$1,500 hiring bonus will be paid after the successful completion of three months of employment.

Qualifications: The Residential Clinician requires a Masters Degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or related area of study.  License eligible and having a Clinical license (LICSW or LMHC) is a plus.  All candidates must be 21 years of age or older; have a valid state driver's license; and, have a legally registered and insured car for work use.  Applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities: (not all inclusive)

  • Provide individual clinical services to the residents; provides intervention and crisis services as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with the supervisors and direct care staff to provide clinical guidance and training.
  • Performs diagnostic evaluations of clients by conducting intake interviews, strength-based assessments, investigating case histories through contact with appropriate collateral resources, and evaluating clients to determine treatment strategies. 
  • Provides intervention services by interviewing clients and/or families and evaluating and making appropriate referrals. 
  • Facilitate clinical groups such as DBT, substance abuse prevention groups, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical case records according to agency and licensing requirements.
  • Work as part of a treatment team with external agency providers to coordinate care (schools, community counseling centers, hospital settings).
  • Attends and participates in individual supervision and regional clinical team meetings.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evening hours, is required.

Annual starting salary range:  $46,580 - $48,580 (MSW or LCSW);  $49,580 - $54,580 (LICSW or LMHC)
