The Key Program in Methuen, MA is seeking Youth Counselors for both their residential group homes for ADOLSECENT GIRLS (Residential Caseworkers) and their community-based programs (Outreach & Tracking Caseworkers) to work with children/teens & families involved with the Department of Children & Families (DCF).
For the Residential Caseworker position - A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an Associate’s degree or college coursework with one year of human service experience, is required.
For the Outreach & Tracking Caseworker position - A Bachelor's degree is required (i.e., social work, sociology, psychology, education, mental health counseling, criminal justice, human development, etc.)
- All candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
- All candidates must have a valid state driver's license; and a legally registered and insured car for work use.
- All candidates must have the ability to work a varied and rotating schedule including days, evenings, and weekend shifts.
Youth Counselors (Residential Caseworkers and Outreach & Tracking Caseworkers) work with a trauma informed care approach to develop supportive client relationships; assist them to attain their treatment plan goals; provides advocacy in the areas of health, education, vocation, legal advocacy, and family advocacy; coordinates clinical services; utilizes community resources; participates in community recreational activities with clients; and, establishes aftercare plans.
