RESIDENTIAL CASEWORKER (Full-Time) - PROVIDENCE, RI

We are seeking a Residential Caseworker to work in Providence, RI in our 6 bed, semi-independent living group home for girls (ages 16-20) involved with the Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF).
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an Associates degree or college coursework with one year of human service experience required
- All candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
- All candidates must have a valid state driver's license; and, have a legally registered and insured car for work use.
- Ability to work a varied and rotating schedule (8am-4pm, 2pm-11pm) includes weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
Responsibilities: Supervise up to 6 females (ages 16-20) and assist them to meet their treatment plan goals and provide behavior management. Be a positive role model for the young women; provide behavior advocacy in the areas of female health needs, education, vocation, legal and family intervention; coordinate creative and therapeutic recreational activities; faciliate individual and group instruction for social and life skills development; assists the girls to perform daily life skills activities.

The Key Program is a private, non-profit human services agency whose mission is to assist at-risk and court-involved children/adolescents and their families to develop positive life skills so they may pursue productive and rewarding lives. Key works in conjunction with the MA Department of Children & Families (DCF), MA Department of Youth Services (DYS), the MA Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the RI Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) and is an agency provider of both community-based outreach services and residential treatment programming.
