Clinician - Residential, Providence, RI

The Key Program is seeking a Full-Time Master's Level Clinician to work within a six bed, Semi-Independent Group Home for females, ages 16-20 years of age, located in Providence, RI.

Qualifications: The Residential Clinician requires a Masters Degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or related area of study.  All candidates must be 21 years of age or older; have a valid state driver's license; and, have a legally registered and insured car for work use.  Applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Provide individual clinical services to the residents; provides intervention and crisis services as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with the supervisors and direct care staff to provide clinical guidance and training.
  • Facilitate clinical groups such as DBT, substance abuse prevention groups, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical case records according to agency and licensing requirements.
  • Work as part of a treatment team with external agency providers to coordinate care (schools, community counseling centers, hospital settings).
  • Attends and participates in individual supervision and regional clinical team meetings.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evening hours, is required.

Key works in conjunction with the MA Department of Children & Families (DCF), MA Department of Youth Services (DYS), the MA Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the RI Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF), Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) and is an agency provider of both community-based outreach services and residential treatment programming.
